The Grand Arch is an extraordinary simple, visually stunning, and structurally sound concept.

Introduction

Three identical towers are interconnected with horizontal platforms in order to create a self sufficient structure. The top of each tower is curved and creates a visually striking impression of the three-way arch.

Structural setup

An equilateral triangle is used as a basic set up for the floors above ground level. Every single tower has its own structural and communication core. Taking into account three buildings are interconnected, fire escape routes are simplified. Every tower is tapered towards the top in order to reduce weight and simplify construction.

Layout of every single floor is very efficient with 20 rooms per floor in the hotel area, open plan office space, and much smaller footprint for residential units towards the top.
