The Langham Hotel in Portland Place was opened in 1865 and was at one time, one of the grandest hotels in London. The owners commissioned the Halpern Partnesrhip to lead a major £50m upgrade of the hotel to provide 5-star accommodation.
The works included exterior revival, enlarging the hotel bedrooms, a new bar and restaurant as well as a new public area, business centre and meeting room facilities. All the work was carried out whilst the hotel remained open.
